After many years dedicated to producing high-quality digital transfers from historic shellac records, TangoTunes is launching a new project:
TocaToca – Streaming for Tango Argentino.
On this evening, we will introduce the new streaming service to the Vienna tango community.
TocaToca provides access to the extensive TangoTunes catalogue directly in your browser – on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. The focus is on outstanding sound quality, high-quality digital transfers, and convenient access to the great orchestras of Tango's Golden Age.
Among other things, we will demonstrate:
the main features of the streaming service,
searching for orchestras, singers, composers, and lyricists,
curated playlists for different moods and dance situations,
creating and managing personal playlists,
and the possibilities TocaToca offers for teaching, practicas, and private listening.
There will also be plenty of time for questions, feedback, and discussion.
Participation is free of charge.
