My path led from studying economics to opera and eventually to becoming a tango professional. Tango found me in 2006 while I was on Erasmus in Strasbourg. Today I work as a tango singer, teacher, DJ, and studio manager of Atelier SOL.
In my teaching, I combine elements of dance, voice, and acting, with music as the main source of inspiration. Key themes are communication in the couple, feeling comfortable in every moment, and bringing personality into the dance. Developing awareness of a grounded and released breath is central to my approach, making it accessible across all ages and levels. Conscious breathing is, for me, the foundation of connection as well as of expression and improvisation.
On my journey I have been inspired by many teachers, most recently Lorena Tarantino & Gianpiero Galdi, as well as Majo Martirena & Rodrigo Fonti. I have also been strongly influenced by marathon dancing, which reduces physical effort and allows tango to unfold in a different, often more meditative state of consciousness.
