Maria Theresia Mühlbacher
After graduating from the State Ballet School in Łódź, Poland, Maria Theresia was a member and solo dancer of several dance companies specializing in ballet, baroque dance and tango argentino and danced in numerous projects at home and abroad. For 10 years, she acted as artistic director of her own company NEOBA and the dance festival TANZTAGE BAD ISCHL.
While she taught ballet and bodywork techniques for children, amateurs and professionals (training and rehearsal management) for 22 years, she has increasingly specialized in Tango Argentino in recent years. Starting with stage productions and Tango Escenario, she became more and more fascinated by social tango - especially the aspects of body communication, improvisation and the enormous potential for developing and promoting health and harmonious coexistence.
