About the Event
TJs / Photographers
Fabiòla Loik
Italien
Fabiòla modestly describes herself like this: "I simply try to play traditional Argentine tango that is nice to dance to." She has played at many international events such as Experiencia Milonguera at Villa Giacomelli, Dans te Bras in Paris, Alpine Abrazo in Mallnitz and Caminata por el Lago at Lake Balaton. She lives, dances and explores tango in Trieste.
Hans Peter Salzer
Deutschland
DJ Salzer lives in Ravensburg near Lake Constance and has been DJing since 1999, by now at many international milongas, festivals, balls and encuentros. From the start he has been captivated by the wealth of melodies and the musical variety of traditional tango; his favourite tangos go straight to heart, head and legs.
Max Marzano
Italien
Max Marzano is a traditional tango DJ through and through and a collector of original 78 rpm shellacs, especially D'Arienzo recordings from 1936 to 1939. He wants to convey the spirit of the milongas porteñas and plays regularly at Rome's most important milongas as well as at festivals and marathons across Europe and worldwide. In 2014 and 2015 he organised the "Milonga Academia" in Rome.
Salima Barzanti
Italien
Salima found tango by chance when her tango school held a milonga on the main square of Conegliano (Treviso). Since then she has been steadily broadening her musical knowledge, always with the dancers' heartbeat in mind. Her tango is traditional but never ordinary. Since 2014 she has been the resident DJ of "Blumilonga" in Conegliano and plays at encuentros and milongas in Italy and abroad. Her motto: "Energy on the dance floor first of all!"
Theo Chatzipetros
Griechenland / Italien
Theo plays traditional music from the late twenties to the late fifties, with a focus on the forties, and adapts the music to the mood of the dancers. He is a member of the Association Tangofirenze in Impruneta and co-founder of its "Raduno milonguero", where he was resident DJ from 2007 to 2014. He has played at milongas, encuentros, festivals and marathons all over Europe and gives musicality and DJ workshops.
Hans Leutscher
Schweden
DJ of the Thursday warm-up milonga, together with the Viennese tango orchestra ViTa MusicA.
