Born into the era of change in the 1960s. The focus on the individual – the ‘I’ and the ‘YOU’ – is reflected in the professions I have studied. Whether in medicine, healthcare, ethnological studies, or in writing about the human continent – a subject that can only be grasped by immersing oneself in it. Prose, poetry, stone sculpture and, last but not least, the tango – for me, the SYNONYM for LIFE ITSELF. In all the diversity in which it manifests itself. Searching, arriving, feeling lost, finding, sensing, boundaries that hold, freedom and law. Music as a world within a world, as a home and a centre, as both a cross and salvation at the same time.
